Jester King & Salty Sow Beer Dinner, 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1. This meaty feast paired with Jester King’s farmhouse ales – in the scenic outdoors of the Hill Country brewery – looks hard to resist. $100.

Taptoberfest at the Brass Tap, 12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3. Oktoberfest and pumpkin brews, barbecue and brats, and live music throughout the day.

Save the World’s One Year Anniversary Party, 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3. The Marble Falls brewery will have a couple of special beers on hand to celebrate, including a Biere de Garde firkin with caramelized figs.

Oktoberfest at Bluebonnet Beer Co., 12 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4. German beers, live polka music and kid-friendly activities obviously mean Round Rock knows how to have fun.

NXNW Slaughter’s One Year Anniversary Party, 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4. A birthday cake, special beer tapping and even a bouncy castle for the kids.

Whip In Oktoberfest, 4:20 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5. An Oktoberfest for the service industry folks who are often working when the rest of us are celebrating. It will feature tappings and bottle openings of seasonal pumpkin and Oktoberfest beers.

Arro’s First Mondays, 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5. The Monday tradition returns with a five-course dinner featuring wines from Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant. $60; $100 with wine pairings.

416 Bar & Grille’s Whiskey Wednesday, 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7. The Burnet Road eatery’s debut whiskey flight night (four ¾ oz. pours) will focus on Texas whiskeys this month. $30 for the flight; $40 with food pairings.

Vox Table’s Schramsburg Vineyards Dinner, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7. Five-course feast featuring 3 oz. wine pairings from this Napa Valley winery. $140.

Hops & Grain’s 4th Anniversary & Bike Affair Part 4 Fiesta, 12 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10. This anniversary party doubles as a fundraiser for a good cause, 1400 Miles, so there’s no excuse not to go.

Black Star Co-op’s 5th Anniversary Party, 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17. Four tasty tappings of rare releases – as well one, a session IPA, just for member-owners – plus the usual house beer list. To skip the line, you can purchase $20 drink tickets in advance.

Flying Saucer’s 8th Annual BeerFeast, 2 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17. Featuring more than 50 breweries and 80 craft beers. $35; $45 at the door.

La V’s Mayacamas Wine Dinner, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20. Andy Erickson, the new winemaker of Mayacamas, will be present for this winemaker’s dinner featuring four courses and wine. $215.

Gourdough’s Revolver Brewing Beer Dinner, 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21. You’ll be a very full but very happy camper after this 4-course feast featuring pairings of Revolver’s Sidewinder, Ironhead IPA and more.

512 Brewing’s 7th Anniversary Party, noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24. Firkins, barrel-aged beers and beer on nitro dominate the tap list at this anniversary party. Is your mouth watering yet?

Fermentation Fest Drei at the ABGB, 12 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24. A celebration of live culture and everything fermented – so you won’t just be tasting beer here.

The Draught House’s 47th Anniversary Party, 1 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24. An annual tradition that kicks off Austin Beer Week, the celebration this year will have the likes of Deschutes 2013 Abyss, Odell Russian Pirate and Austin Beerworks Lychee Sour (and many, many more) on tap – including the brewpub’s own beers.

Decktoberfest at Red Horn Coffee House & Brewing Co. 12 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25. Local Oktoberfest beers, including Austin Beerworks Montecore and Thirsty Planet’s Smittlefest, that you can enjoy on Red Horn’s tree-lined outdoor deck.

Karbach Beer Dinner at Greenhouse Craft Food, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25. Five courses with Karbach beers, including the Krunkin Pumpkin Ale, for the Round Rock restaurant’s last beer pairing dinner of the year.

DIY Bitters Class with Kate Payne, 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27. Learn the science and basic techniques behind crafting your own bitters and liqueurs at this hands-on workshop.

6th Annual Austin Tequila Fest Fright Night, 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. A gathering at Casa Chapala of agave lovers trying tequila, mescal and sotol. $32-$75.
