South Austin Brewery has been going through changes in the past year, including a renovated taproom, but one aspect of the brewery won't change. It's still a place where people can come to drink beer and listen to live music.

Slow Wine Guide, 1 to 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1. 80 producers from 15 Italian wine regions are at this tasting to familiarize you with their philosophy surrounding biodiversity, eco-friendliness and more.

Italic’s Selvapiana Wine Dinner, 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1. A five-course tasting menu will showcase the wines of Selvapiana Winery, in a historic and renowned region of Italy. $75.

Whalez Bruh Rare Draft Release, 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2. Whip In is pulling rare beers from the cellar, from 2013 Deschutes the Abyss to 2014 Prairie Balcones Whiskey Barrel Bomb.

The W Austin’s Women’s Club Wednesday, 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3. This new boy’s club for women features a Patron Tequila tasting this month. $32.64.

Pint Night for a Cause at Workhorse Bar, 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 4. New Belgium Brewing is featured at this event that is giving 15 percent of proceeds to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Central Austin.

Firkin Friday at Uncle Billy’s, 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5. Try a cask of the Green Room IPA, augmented with grapefruit zest and Equinox hops for flavors of green pepper and tropical fruit. $3 a pint.

South Austin Brewery’s 2-Year Anniversary, 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6. Enjoy cans of the Evel Ale, the Kol’Beer and the TPA, as well as live music, food truck eats and more.

Cocktails and Cheese at Small Victory, 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7. Antonelli’s Cheese is celebrating six years in business with this pairing of four drinks and cheeses. $40.

The Craftsman SOUPer Bowl, 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7. While you watch the Super Bowl, seven breweries are duking it out with a different challenge. They’ll make a soup, stew or chili with one of their beers and you’ll decide the favorite.

Valentine’s Day-Themed Wine Tasting at Lenoir, 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11. Find the wine for your weekend for two with Lenoir’s beverage director, Chris Kelly, who will be pouring lush and blush winter reds and rosés.

Love Goes Sour Week at Flying Saucer, 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12. Sour beers are on tap from New Belgium Brewing, BFM, Prairie Artisan Ales and Cascade Brewing.

Smoke Out Saturday at Banger’s, 12 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13. A special Mardi Gras edition of this smoke fest brings Cajun food, live music and beer to the Banger’s courtyard.

Galentine’s Day at Zilker Brewing, 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13. Ladies only for this afternoon featuring a special cask tapping, local vendors, light bites and a raffle benefiting SafePlace.

Meridian Hive Meadery’s Dynamo Release Party, 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13. Austin’s only meadery is debuting Dynamo, a sessionable sour cherry mead made with two types of cherries, cinnamon, vanilla, almond and orange blossom honey.

Valentine’s Vow Renewal at New Braunfels Brewing, 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13. Renew your vows brewery-style: with a beer in hand. $25 per couple.

Cafecito Meets Professor Black at Blue Owl Brewing, 12 to 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14. This perfect pairing – a splash of Revolution Spirits’ coffee liqueur with Blue Owl’s sour cherry stout – is available with the brewery’s usual $15 sensory tour.

Barrel-Aged Week at Eureka, 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 15 through midnight Sunday, Feb. 21. A full week of events related to barrel-aged beers, including a beer dinner featuring suds from Austin Eastciders, Real Ale, Rahr & Sons, Karbach and (512) Brewing. $6-$60.

Winner, Winner, Whiskey Beer Dinner at Flying Saucer, 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25. All whiskey barrel-aged brews at this dinner. More details to come.
